Professional Profile

Experience

Christine DoyleFor the past 6 years I have lived and worked on our 60 acre farm and forest in the Laurentian mountains of Quebec. Together, my husband and I have hosted residencies for artists who were exploring the relationship between art and nature. I have witnessed the healing and nurturing power of both art and nature many times. I have also experienced it myself.

Education

I hold a masters degree in Art Therapy from Concordia University in Montreal, Quebec (2001). My graduate research was concerned with spirituality and art therapy. My bachelors degree was in Psychology (Simon Fraser University, 1981) and I also hold a diploma in media arts (Capilano College, 1991). I am a professional member of both the Association des art-thérapeutes du Québec and I work according to their standards and code of ethics.

Professional Focus

I specialize in working with people who need to renew, reshape and balance their lives through contact with nature and their own creativity. I offer support in the form of creative renewal workshops and mini-retreats. In addition, I provide individual art psychotherapy to English-speaking clients of all ages in the Laurentian mountain area of Quebec.
